Life without Clorox Wipes

Thursday and Friday, November 13 and 14

Thursday was a normal Thursday, long and boring. You try sitting through 8 straight hours of German class. ugh! I gave my presentation on the Turkish Market in class this morning which was fun until I got interrupted by a fire alarm. We all went outside and it turns out fire alarm is code for smoke break because when they told us we could go back inside everyone (except those of us lucky enough to have class) stayed outside smoking. yuck!

Anyway, I was able to be productive during my 2 hour break and started working on a paper because when you look at the calendar time is FLYING BY! I came home, did a little more work, watched alot of TV, and caught up with some people on Skype. I even got the chance to talk to COURTNEY about her trip to Berlin in t-minus 9 days!

I woke up this morning thrilled not to be traveling until Saturday and watched Gre'y Anatomy. When i finally convinced myself to get out of bed i cleaned the apartment head to toe because my host mom comes back on Monday! Now, I did my time as a Baby Ruth so I know a thing or two about how to clean a bathroom but I just don't understand people live without CLOROX WIPES! They just make life so much easier. Everything is contained in that one little bottle. You pull out a wipe, clean up the mess, and you toss it. None of this clean the rag that you used to clean the sink with junk. Come on people...they'll change your life!

Anyway, I finished with that (thank goodness) and headed to the grocery store to pick up a few things for next week. I had to return some bottles to the store (you get money back in this country for recycling...save mother earth!) and was forced to stand behind a couple who had 2 HUGE backpacks (like the ones you go backpacking around the world with) full of bottles. Needless to say I was there for a while.

And now, I'm back at home trying desperately to will myself to work....but why?
